The first book,  The Mirror of Cassandre, was written by the French author Bernard Werber who is famous for his trilogy : The cycle of ants. He was born in 1961 and he is still writing today. This book talks about a girl, Cassandre who lost her parents in an attack in Egypt, during a Verdi performance and she has no news of her brother, Daniel. She lives in an orphanage led by Philippe Papadakis who knew her very well. After she hurt him, she ran away and arrived at «Redemption», a garbage dump where Esmeralda, Fetnat, Orlando and Kim Ye Bin lived as hobos. Little by little, she realizes she has a gift; she can see the future and she has a watch which gives her the time of death in the 5 seconds. But she doesn't remember her childhood and the horrible past she went through. This book is very interesting to read; the style of writing of Werber permitted to read, read and always read. The revelation of Cassandre's past, at the far end is very surprising. The book will be loved by Werber's fans.
